In this role, you will work onsite with customers to elicit and analyze their requirements, develop designs, and implement Salesforce solutions.  Additionally, Business Analysts routinely perform project management functions, depending upon the size of specific client engagements.

 

Responsibilities   

  • Build a clear requirements development strategy for each customer engagement and lead discovery activities to gather, define, and document business requirements
  • Build rapport and understanding of customers to ensure quality understanding of their environment, to ensure high-quality, thoughtful solutions
  • Document requirements in the form of use cases, business requirement documents and user stories
  • Participate in training content development and administration, and end-user training delivery
  • Contribute to project team deliverables through agile, waterfall or hybrid development approaches
  • Design and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Present solution options to customers, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configurations versus custom coding
  • Translate customer use cases, rules and scenarios to the project team
  • Ensure project activities and deliverables are effectively designed for customers, that produce value and ensure strategic adoption of MST products and services
  • Support architecture, development and other technical teams to ensure sound solution design directly related to customer requirements, business processes and Salesforce platform capabilities

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies related to gathering and documenting requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate relevant subject matter to both business and technical teams
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience managing projects with Waterfall, Agile, and/or hybrid development methodologies
  • Ability to observe, understand and respond strategically to client needs
  • Highly detail oriented, well organized, and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Energetic, motivated, service-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent listening, oral, and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible to new situations and challenges

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • IIBA Certification
  • Salesforce Certifications
  • Experience working in a professional services environment
