Chandler-based tech company MST Solutions LLC plans to triple the number of employees at its local office and its office in India by 2020.
MST (MetaSoftTech) Solutions is the largest Arizona-based Salesforce customer relationship management software implementation partner, said MST founder and CEO Thiru Thangarathinam. MST also works with cloud and marketing solutions for mainly local companies, he added.
“Eighty percent of our business is CRM (Salesforce), 10 percent is marketing and 10 percent is cloud,” Thangarathinam said.
The company, which began in 2012, has 50 employees in Chandler and 200 employees in India. Both offices opened at the same time.
MST expects to hire another 150 employees by 2020 in Chandler, including 25 people in the next year. Hiring is expected in all positions, with salary ranges from $65,000 to $140,000, he said.
The Chandler office includes engagement managers, business analysts, architects, project managers, developers and testers.
The office in India, which houses developers and testers, expects to be at 600 employees by 2020, Thangarathinam said.
“There’s one third of the cost of salaries in India as compared to Chandler,” said Thangarathinam, who was born in India and has lived in Arizona for 18 years. “There’s also access to qualified, technical talent and great time-to-market options because we have people working around the clock with both the India and Chandler offices.”
MST Solutions works with all types of clients, including Tempe-based LifeLock Inc., Phoenix-based Republic Services Inc. (NYSE: RSG), Phoenix-based Apollo Education Group Inc., Phoenix-based Make-a-Wish Foundation of America and the Arizona state government.
While the majority of clients are in Arizona, MST also works with companies in California and Denver.
“Our goal is to be at $50 million in revenue by 2020,” said Thangarathinam, a former senior director of platform architecture at Apollo Group. “We plan to continue delivering our top-notch quality service.”
MST moved into a new 7,000-square-foot office about eight months ago off Dobson Road and Chandler Boulevard.
The company plans to expand further in the next three months by adding another 6,000 square feet in the same building.
Any future local expansions are also planned to remain in Chandler, said Thangarathinam, who also lives in Chandler.
